History

Bristol LeRoc is the longest running modern jive class in the South West, running for over 25 years. The classes are held at The Folk House on Park Street in Bristol.

We are the organisers of the Bristol LeRoc Ball and the South West LeRoc Challenge, and work in partnership with the Bristol University student classes.

Bristol LeRoc is the original LeRoc club in Bristol. Started by Michel Gay who was one of the founders of LeRoc in the UK, John Eastman and Jacquie Dunn were part of the teaching team when Michel retired from teaching and have since passed the reigns to Emily Holloway.  Jacquie continues to take an active role within the LeRoc Federation as an examiner and teacher trainer.
